I have been very impressed with the Catholic church's principled stance on gender ideology. They emphasize love and respect for people who are sexually diverse or gender-diverse, but without acquiescing to the demands of political groups who claim to speak for these demographics. In our current environment, where LGBT politics is highly "captured" and entangled with the profit motives of the plastic surgery industry, I think this is the perfect way to do things.
